Arctic Ice Textured Paste

As a textured artist I’ve spent so much time and energy trying to find the perfect paste. There are a lot of great products out there but they tend to have one thing is common, they take too long to dry. The average paste takes about 24 hours to dry and that means waiting another day to create your masterpiece. In addition to that I found a lot of pastes and gesso would set off my asthma which was a bit of a problem for a full time textured artist. So I decided to experiment and find out why and if I could create something I could happily use. Artic Ice was born.

Most artists tend to paint when the inspiration hits so I decided I wanted a textured paste with a faster drying time (1 hour naturally, under heat 5 minutes) and can still keep when sealed. I wanted it to be thick and strong and have a white creamy finish for monochrome pieces. So after a long time experimenting I finally created Arctic Ice my own textured brand which I use in my workshops and on all my artwork.
