Tuesday 13th May - Sketch and add textures and colour. 10am - 2pm with a break for lunch.
Dive into the world of texture, capturing the essence of the tropical beaches and dramatic shores around the world. In this workshop, you'll create your own deep edge textured canvas artwork inspired by our dramatic coastline. No prior experience needed.
Textured art adds depth and character to any piece of artwork.
Guided by myself a qualified art, design & media teacher, this all day workshop will include conceptual creative design, canvas prep, gesso sketch layers and palette knife colour application using acrylics.
The artwork can be taken home on the last day once dry or collected from the gallery.
The workshop starts at 10a.m with a lunch break half way through. It will be held in the main gallery upstairs, Unfortunately the building is very old and hasn’t got wheelchair accessibility yet.
All materials are supplied. Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting paint on.
